Coddynet Privacy Policy

Welcome to Coddynet's Privacy Policy. Thank you for reading it.

This policy applies to websites, apps and services operated by Coddynet. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as our "Service","Us","We" in this Privacy Policy. This policy may change over time to enhance the safety of your information.

At Coddynet, your privacy is a top priority. Your privacy is at the core of the way we design and build the services and products you know and love, so that you can fully trust them and focus on building meaningful connections. We appreciate that you put your trust in us when you provide us with your information and we do not take this lightly.

This policy's goal is to make sure you understand the information we collect, why we collect it and how it is used. We actually want you to read our policies and understand our privacy practices before using our services.

1.     Collection Of Information

·         Registration information

When you download the App and create an account ("Account"), we may collect certain information ("Registration Information") about you, such as: Name, User name, Email address, Mobile number, Gender identity, Date of birth, Sexual preference, Photographs, Location, and Login information for social media accounts that you connect to your Coddynet Account (this could include, for example, your Facebook and Google accounts).

You will also be required to create a password in connection with the registration of your Account. Once you register, you will be able to review and change this information at any time just by logging in to Coddynet (other than your location, which, if you have given Coddynet access to your location in your device settings, is automatically updated based on the location of your device) or contacting Coddynet's Customer Support Team. It is your responsibility to ensure that your account details are kept up to date. If your phone number changes, please ensure that you update this in your account.

The information we collect helps to enhance the App and verify our Users (robots are not welcome!). Registration Information such as your sexual preference, name and username may be visible to other Users who view your profile page.

·         Information we receive from others

In addition to the information you may provide us directly, we receive information about you from others, including:

Members Members may provide information about you as they use our services, for instance as they interact with you or if they submit a report involving you.

Other Partners We may receive information about you from our partners where Coddynet ads are published on a partner's service (in which case they may pass along details on a campaign's success). Where legally allowed, we can also receive information about suspected or convicted bad actors from third parties as part of our efforts to ensure our members· safety and security.

·         Information collected when you use our services

When you use our services, this generates technical data about which features you've used, how you've used them and the devices you use to access our services. See below for more details:

Geolocation Information If you have given Coddynet access to your location in your device settings, when you use your mobile, we will collect information about WiFi access points as well as other location information about your longitude and latitude and may save your device's coordinates to offer certain features to you. This information helps us identify your physical location and we may use it to personalise the App and make it easier for you to interact with other Users, by enabling the general locality information to be displayed to Users seeing your profile and showing you the profiles of other Users who are near you.

Usage Information Using the services generates data about your activity on our services, for instance how you use them (e.g., when you logged in, features you've been using, actions taken, information shown to you, referring webpages address and ads that you interacted with) and your interactions with other members (e.g., members you connect and interact with, when you exchanged with them, number of messages you send and receive).

Device information We collect information from and about the device(s) you use to access our services, including hardware and software information such as IP address, device ID and type, apps settings and characteristics, app crashes, advertising IDs (which are randomly generated numbers that you can reset by going into your device'settings), identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify a device or browser.

2.     Cookies and Other Similar Data Collection Technologies

Cookies are small text files input and store on your device, which enables the features and functionality of Coddynet services. We use and may allow others to use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, SDKs) to recognize you and/or your device(s).

Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome) have a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") feature that tells a website that a user does not want to have his or her online activity tracked. If a website that responds to a DNT signal receives a DNT signal, the browser can block that website from collecting certain information about the browser's user. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many businesses, including Coddynet, do not currently respond to DNT signals.
